Unvented Cylinders Megaflo Common Faults:
On the left is the extract from the instruction book supplied with your Megaflo.
However, the table is pretty basic, so here's a short list of faults that aren't listed.
- Hot water is hot enough, but runs out quickly.
- Hot water comes out of the cold taps occasionally
- Hot taps all work fine, but shower valves are luke warm
- Lower pressure as you get higher in the property
- Economy 7 (off peak) not working, but boost (on peak) is working ok.
- Leaking/dripping CWCV
- Constant discharge through tundish, or when cylinder gets hot
All the faults listed will require a repair call. They are not DIY fixes.
Please remember these systems can be volatile, and you need to be qualified to carry out repairs and installations.
